Gail Louise is an
award-winning artist
currently residing
in Colorado Springs,
and since 1997 has been a self-employed
web designer.
Although a life-long lover of art, Gail didn't begin
painting until the spring of 2012. She is constantly
inspired by the ladies in her watercolor class at the
local Senior Center in her hometown and local artist
association, and owes
them a debt of gratitude for
helping her get started
in watercolor and acrylic
painting.
For many years, Gail has
been particularly captivated by
watercolor art, and chose this as her medium when she
began painting. She enjoys painting flowers, landscapes,
animals, and people. Having spent time in Hawaii, and
the California and East coasts, Gail also enjoys painting
seascapes. Famous people also capture her attention,
but
she enjoys painting friends and family as well.
Gail also works with
textures and acrylics, and
very much
enjoys painting greeting cards with
flowers and Japanese themes.
She was a member of the
Sandhills
Art Association from 2013 to 2016.
